Here is the age old question... and another one of life’s most important. Who would win in a fight... A Mortal Kombat style fight... between Batman and Superman?
Now the reason I bring this up is because my cousin and I are always arguing about this. He believes that Batman would win... but of course he’s wrong... and three guesses as to who I believe will win... you guessed it, The Man of Steel himself, Superman!
I mean come on, Batman stands no chance. Before he could blink Superman could super speed up to him, punch him full force, and BAM! Batman’s dead... or more likely completely decimated. And yes, I realize that Batman has defeated Superman in the past by wearing a suit of armor and using Kryptonite, but that’s cheating! I know Superman has superpowers and many consider that cheating, but he can't help that our yellow sun gives him powers. It’s not like he can turn off the sun.
I will admit that Batman is at a complete disadvantage because of Superman’s powers and he should do anything and use anything he can to give himself some kind of chance in the battle... survival of the fittest and all... but I don't think that the battle would last for anymore than a second. That’s all it takes for Superman to punch his lights out.
But enough of what I think, who do you believe would win in a fight between Batman and Superman?
And I do realize that this topic makes me seem like a complete comic geek, and yes growing up I did buy comic books, and I still might… if the comic store wasn't so far away from me... but comic books were cool and still are, so I am not ashamed to be a former comic geek!

your right that superman would win and my reasoning is that he has laser eyes and can hit him from a distance. Plus he could always just blow batman away too. Their is always the option of superman dropping a building on batman or something you know i'm pretty sure batman doesn't have a gadget for that lol. But props to Batman for being the only super hero with no powers and being the rival of Superman.

So your blog made me think about another age old question, how men and women differ in their opinions of cheating. How can a guy who is bullet proof, can fly, has hurricane force arctic winds for breath, laser eye-sight, and super human strength be an equal match to a normal, mortal human? The only thing, in my opinion, that makes it a fair match up is brain power. Batman has managed to become a super hero where many others of equal strength have failed. Why? Because he makes all those cool gadgets and has the courage to go out and use them. And to kill an otherwise invinceable opponent, kryptonite has to be fair play. I mean, batman would make some type of kryptonite gun gadget and put superman's defensive abilities to the test. But if both of them had the equipment/power to destroy the other, the true victor would be whoever was smartest. I want to say that you're right, superman would completely wreck batman, but seeing him strike out with Lois Lane so many times makes me feel like he might miss the opportune moment in his battle with batman, and batman might actually win...Either way, it would be an epic fight.
